The City of Owen Sound can indeed be very proud of their dedicated group of Firefighter professional fire fighters, who have a history of more than 150 years of service.

The department has 26 full time Firefighters, 1 full time Training Officer, and 2 full time Fire Prevention Professionals. The department also has a rescue and recovery dive team.
